The process for choosing a style and building a set for Christmas sessions is a hard one, but I love doing it! Thought I would share the process, as it is very rewarding in the end. The challenge these past couple of years was creating something that would be suitable for kids as well as families, as the special has grown since I first started. I knew the general idea of what I wanted – a cozy family room space that was bright and airy. I love natural light, but for sessions throughout the day I needed something that was bight and consistent. I started by creating a plain white room and blocking out most of the window. Here is what the final set looked like.
